How It Works

THE DECK | IPL 2026

The Basics

Your Cards

Each player gets 10 randomised cards — 5 batting & 5 bowling. Every card maps to a real match event. When that event happens in a live IPL game, you score points.

Each set of 5 cards (batting or bowling) contains:

  • 5 pts  ×2 — Common events
  • 8 pts  ×1 — Uncommon events
  • 13 pts ×1 — Rare events
  • 21 pts ×1 — Jackpot events
Weekend Schedule
  • 🗓️ Weekend 1 — Apr 18–19
  • 🗓️ Weekend 2 — Apr 25–26
  • 🏏 2 games on Saturday, 2 games on Sunday
  • 📊 Points accumulate across all 4 games
  • 🔄 Swap your cards after Saturday’s games or keep them
  • 🏆 Winner announced every Monday

  2. Head to #cricsocial-tournament

FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I have to be present for and watch each game?

No! You just have to confirm that you’re participating. The game is static for now and does not require real-time decision-making from you. Just sit back and let the match events do the work.

Can I switch my cards?

Yes! After the first 2 games on Saturday, you’re allowed to request a swap. Be strategic about it though — is it a bad hand, or was it just a bad match?

What exactly is the CricSocial card game that I might win?

It’s an offline cricket card game you play during real-time T20 matches. Watch the match with your friends, play your cards as match events unfold, and the person with the highest points wins. Think of it as a game within the game.
