This Indian team HAS<\/strong> to go down as the best team in Cricket World Cup history to not win it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was Great About this Best Team?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the start of this World Cup, no one in their wildest dreams had imagined the brand and quality of cricket this team would play over the coming few weeks. It was breathtaking, awe-inspiring & fearless. It was every superlative you could possibly think of and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With batting woes in the middle order and lack of batting depth<\/a> being the main concerns, India definitely did not go into the tournament as favourites. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add to that, after putting in Australia to bat in the first game, India found themselves 3 down for almost nothing and you could hear the muttering among fans around you in the neighbourhoods, in malls, in hotels, everywhere!It felt like the end of a World Cup before it had even started. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But then, something happened. Something akin to a miracle and nothing short. Virat Kohli like always and the much talked about KL Rahul come together to stitch one of the finest partnerships in modern day one day cricket to lead India to a comfortable 6 wicket victory!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
